Assistance with Transportation
Caregivers provide a vehicle or drive a client’s vehicle to appointments or social engagements. Caregivers may run errands on behalf of clients such as picking up prescriptions at the pharmacy or going to the drycleaners.
Kitchen and Meal Assistance
Caregivers may assist with nutritious meal planning, preparation, service, clean-up and grocery shopping.
Caregivers build social relationships with clients. Activities may include participating in hobbies and outings, going for walks, holding friendly conversation, or helping to keep up with a personal calendar.
Assistance with Household Chores
Caregivers may help bring in the mail and newspaper, water potted plants, and help with pet care. Caregivers maintain a tidy and clean space and can perform basic light housekeeping in the kitchen, main living area and client’s bathroom and bedroom. Tasks may include laundry, sweeping, and mopping.
Reporting to the Nurse
Caregivers report condition changes and clinical concerns to a RN Care Manager as necessary. Please note, if caregivers are reporting to the nurse frequently, Personal Care Level Services may be required.
A highly customizable care level that provides for expanded Caregiver tasks and Complimentary RN Care Oversight. Schedules can be tailored to almost any client circumstance, from as little as four hours of care per day, to overnight care, and 24/7 care. Personal Care is the most common care level.

Short Term Enhanced Care
Enhanced Personal Care is implemented on a short-term basis for clients who receive care after hospitalizations.
Ongoing Enhanced Care
RN Care Oversight
RN Care Oversight is a free service for Personal Care Level clients. Experienced RN Care Managers oversee client care to help prevent hospitalizations and unneeded medical escalations.
Routine In-Home Visits
A Catalina Nurse makes routine in-home visits with every Personal Care Level client. During these wellness checks, nurses take the time to build relationships with clients, family, and other care partners. In addition to monitoring existing health issues or concerns, the nurse will review the care plan and make updates as needed. The frequency of nurse visits is determined by the number of care hours a client receives.
